【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthemassfractionofapolypropylenehomopolymerorcopolymerwhichissolubleinxyleneat25℃.Aweighedamountofdriedsampleisdissolvedinxyleneunderrefluxconditions,thencooledundercontrolledconditionsandmaintainedat25℃toensurecontrolledcrystallizationoftheinsolublefraction.Thexylene-solublefractionisthenrecoveredbyevaporationofthexyleneanddeterminedbyweighingtheresidue.Othermaterialswithsolubilitiessimilartothatofthexylene-solublefraction,suchasadditives,mayinterferewiththedetermination.
