【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsandgivesrecommendationsforthedesign,installationandmaintenanceoffixedfiresprinklersystemsinbuildingsandindustrialplant,andparticularrequirementsforsprinklersystems,whichareintegraltomeasuresfortheprotectionoflife.ThisstandardcoversonlythetypesofsprinklerspecifiedinEN12259-1(seeannexL).Therequirementsandrecommendationsofthisstandardarealsoapplicabletoanyaddition,extension,repairorothermodificationtoasprinklersystem.Theyarenotapplicabletowatersprayordelugesystems.Itcoverstheclassificationofhazards,provisionofwatersupplies,componentstobeused,installationandtestingofthesystem,maintenance,andtheextensionofexistingsystems,andidentifiesconstructiondetailsofbuildingswhicharetheminimumnecessaryforsatisfactoryperformanceofsprinklersystemscomplyingwiththisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverwatersuppliestosystemsotherthansprinklers.Itsrequirementscanbeusedasguidanceforotherfixedfirefightingextinguishingsystems,however,providedthatanyspecificrequirementsforotherfirefightingextinguishingsuppliesaretakenintoaccount.deletedtextTherequirementsarenotvalidforautomaticsprinklersystemsonships,inaircraft,onvehiclesandmobilefireappliancesorforbelowgroundsystemsintheminingindustry.SprinklersystemdesigndeviationsmaybeallowedwhensuchdeviationshavebeenshowntoprovidealevelofprotectionatleastequivalenttothisEuropeanStandard,forexamplebymeansoffullscalefiretestingwhereappropriate,andwherethedesigncriteriahavebeenfullydocumented.
