【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversthetestingofanyfenestrationproductsthatareinstalledwiththeexteriorsurfaceexposedtoweatheringconditions.Itisintendedtomeasuretheresponseofthefenestrationproducttotemperaturecycleswiththetemperaturechangesbeinginducedbycontrollingtheairtemperatureontheexterior(weatherside)orbyexposingtheproducttoinfraredradiation,orboth.Whentestedusingthispractice,fenestrationproductsareexposedtostandardcyclesofelevatedanddepressedambientairandsurfacetemperatures.Testmethodsarespecifiedforevaluatingchangesinperformancethatmayoccurasaresultoftemperaturecycling.Withthispractice,seasonalanddiurnaltemperatureconditionsaresimulatedinacontrolledlaboratoryapparatus.1.2Inthispractice,twotestmethods,TestMethodAandTestMethodB,aredescribedforexposingtheexteriorsurfaceoffenestrationproductstotheelevatedportionofastandardizedtemperaturecycle.Thepurposeforprovidingtwotestmethodsofexposureistoaddresstwodistinctneedsofthefenestrationindustry.1.2.1TestMethodAusesinfraredradiationtoincreasethesurfacetemperatureofthefenestrationproductandusesablackpaneltemperaturesensorplacedinfrontofthespecimen''sexteriorsurfacetosensethetemperature.Thesurfacetemperatureoftheblackpaneltemperaturesensorisraisedtoapresetlevelabovetheexteriorambientairtemperature.Thisprovidesamorerealistictestfortemperatureexposurebasedonatmosphericsolarradiationanditseffectonthetemperatureincreaseofexteriorbuildingmaterials.Thismethodshouldbeusedwhenthenumberofcyclescanbelargeandtheoutcomeiscriticalforfieldcorrelation.TestMethodAisintendedforcomparativeproductevaluations.1.2.2TestMethodBuseselevatedtemperatureproducedbyconvectivehotairtoachievetheexteriorairtemperatureset-point.Itprovidesamoresevertestbecauseitelevatestheexteriorairtemperaturetolevelsthatarenotobtainableunderin-serviceconditions.Thisprovidesamorerapiddegradationcycleforacceleratingtheeffectsofthetemperatureexposurecyclingonsomematerialsandfasteningmethodsusedinfenestrationproducts.Thismethodisintendedtobeusedwhenthenumberoftemperaturecyclesmustbeminimizedortheoutcomeisnotcriticalforfieldcorrelation.TestMethodBisintendedforresearchanddevelopmentpurposesandnotforcomparativeproductevaluations.1.3Inthispractice,threetemperatureexposurelevelsaresuggestedforeachmethod:Level1isalowtemperatureexposure,Level2isamoderatetemperatureexposure,andLevel3isahightemperatureexposure.Thepurposeofprovidingthreelevelsoftemperatureexposureistoaccommodatedifferentgradesoffenestrationproductsbasedontheirdesignsandtheirpotentialgeographicinstallationlocations.Othertemperaturelevelsmaybeselectedbythespecifier.1.3.1Performancecharacteristicmeasurementsareusedtoevaluatetheeffectsonthefenestrationproductcausedbytemperaturecycling.Theyaremeasuredbythefollowingtests:AirleakageratesshallbemeasuredinaccordancewithTestMethodE283.WaterpenetrationresistanceshallbemeasuredinaccordancewithTestMethodE331orTestMethodE547.StructuralstrengthshallbemeasuredinaccordancewithTestMethodE330.Thistestshallonlybeperformedwhenspecifiedandonlyaftertemperaturecyclingiscompleted.1.3.2Thetestspecifiermayalsochooseadditionalteststocharacterizefenestrationproductperformance.(SeeNote0forsuggestedadditionaltests.)1.3.3Forthepurposesofproductcomparison,thesetestsareperformedatornearstandardlaboratoryconditions,butforresearchanddevelopmentpurposes,theymayalsobeperformedduringanelevatedordepressedportionofthetemp......
